Forward firewall traffic to remote router

Forward firewall traffic to remote router

I apologize in advance, I am not sure how to even phrase the question. Basically, I spend a good deal of time in a library, but there is a very restrictive firewall in place. However, I can use RDP to access my secondary computer at home, and from within RDP I can update Dropbox, check Facebook, watch Youtube, etc.
However as you know everything is choppy due to the processing overhead involved... Is there a way where I can just 'remote' to my router at home, and not use RDP or my second computer, but redirect site requests directly? That way I could, e.g., watch Youtube in my laptop's browser as if there were no firewall. Not sure if this would be considered 'proxy-ing' or 'tunneling', etc... Any help is much appreciated.
